Founded in 23rd July 1990 by Mr. Deddie, Surpra was first built in Denpasar, Bali. The birth place of Surpra was precisely where now it is still actively operating. The First project that we've been helped is Kenny Furniture, BMW (now become Wuling Building in Denpasar), Jenggala Keramik Warehouse, and many more. In our first year, people come to give us their trust as their steel supplier.

Surpra started to supply tiles, metal, and sand for the construction of Great Mosque on Hassanudin, Denpasar.

A lot of big projects took place in 1992-1997. Surpra worked on many steel and roof projects such as PT Coca Cola in Mengwi, Kenny Furniture in Legian, Auto 2000 in Denpasar, Catholic Church in Denpasar, Yusuf Silver in Legian, and many more. Surpra also supported warehouses, offices and houses projects.

Growing as a steel supplier, Surpra owned its first house-ware in Denpasar – Gatot Subroto, Bali by providing efficient, friendly service, Surpra quickly became a well-known choice in businesses. Surpra provided all construction needs such as steel, pipes, plates, and elbows. The Denpasar Junction (Level 21), the Kutus Kutus Gianyar Oil Factory, The Piramid Spa, were big projects that have been supported by Surpra. Surpra began to start a connection with reputable contractors to supply their needs.

Start from 2000 until now, Surpra become a bigger well-known supplier who trusted by many big contractors in Indonesia such as Tunas Jaya, TATA, NRC, etc.

Surpra began to establish the business under legal documents which was first known as Trading Business or “UD” (Usaha Dagang). By 2011, Surpra is now known as Commanditaire Vennootschap or “CV” (Persekutuan Komanditer) under the legal law.
