The Covid-19 pandemic has led to changes in plans for the Country budget. Some sectors stop and focus on health issues. Likewise in the steel, construction, and steel industries experienced a decline in demand. Other countries also experience a decline in demand and also make a decline in production by up to 50%.
Currently, the Country is developing a strategy to increase the use of mild steel. One way is to encourage the use of SNI 8399-2017 for light steel frames and other SNIs for other mild steel products.
